Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of xvideodownload.app (the "Service"), a free, web-based tool for downloading videos from the social network X (formerly Twitter). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. The Service

The Service accepts a link to a post on x.com or twitter.com and returns the downloadable video file variants that X already makes publicly available for that post. We do not host videos ourselves, do not store videos after a request, and do not decrypt, re-encrypt, or remove any technical protection measures. We merely expose the same MP4 files that X serves to any viewer.

2. No affiliation

xvideodownload.app is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp, Twitter, Inc., xvideos.com, or any related entity. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

3. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Download content in violation of applicable copyright or other intellectual-property laws.
• Use the Service in a way that breaches X's Terms of Service or any other platform's terms.
• Use the Service for harassment, defamation, or to infringe the privacy or publicity rights of any person.
• Automate, scrape, or load the Service at a rate that would materially affect its availability for other users. We may apply reasonable rate limits or block sources that do.
• Probe, attack, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

4. Your responsibility for what you download

You are solely responsible for how you use any file you download through the Service. Downloading a video does not transfer ownership or grant you a licence. Redistribution, commercial use, public performance, or derivative works typically require the permission of the rights holder. When in doubt, assume a post's video is under copyright and obtain permission before re-using it.

5. Intellectual-property takedowns

We do not host or store videos, so there is generally nothing to take down on our side. If, however, you believe your rights are being infringed because a specific piece of content is reachable through the Service in a way you consider improper, contact support@xvideodownload.app with (a) identification of the work, (b) the URL(s) involved, (c) your contact information, and (d) a statement that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder. The most effective remedy is usually to have the underlying post removed from X — once that happens, the Service can no longer reach it.

6. Service availability and changes

The Service is provided free of charge. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that every video available on X will be retrievable — X's APIs, privacy settings, and terms can and do change.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, xvideodownload.app and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed USD 50.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless xvideodownload.app and its operators from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
